SONY (Abuja) Photo Walk

A Guide to Photojournalism & Storytelling

We are excited to announce our collaboration with Sony Nigeria to host a two-day workshop to discover and nurture the next generation of documentary photo storytellers. The Sony Photo Walk is designed to empower emerging photographers by providing them with the skills, tools, and insights they need to excel in the world of photojournalism and visual storytelling.

Program Concept

This workshop is dedicated to supporting a growing community of Nigerian documentary photographers by exposing them to professional tools and techniques that will elevate their craft. Through this 2-day intensive workshop, participants will receive classroom instruction and hands-on experience on the fundamentals of photojournalism, enhance their storytelling abilities, and gain proficiency with Sony's industry-leading camera equipment. This will be followed by a practical street photography experience and editing session and the best photos from the participants will be exhibited publicly.
